Small Boats
Whether it's a Tinnie or a 7 metre Trailer Boat, we have fishing for all.
Offshore - This division fishes for points score and is open to all member boat-owners and their crews. Fishing on the first Sunday of each month with the weigh-in back at the ramp at 1.30. Trips are mostly run out of Middle Harbour or Broken Bay. Captains regularly keep in touch throughout the trips ensuring good fishing for all. Small Boats Offshore also competes in the combined divisions away trip at Greenwell Point in March.
Non-competition social runs are also organized by Fishing Club Members along with other away trips at different times including midweek. River and Estuary - Outings can be fished from a boat, kayak or land based. Trips are frequently in the Hawkesbury River area from Barrenjoey Lighthouse westward. River and Estuary offers fishers who don't have the luxury of being able to fish off-shore, the opportunity to compete in saltwater fishing events. The club has at least one night fishing trip (usually going after Hairtail) and occasionally explores other waterways to try their luck. Combined Challenge - Friendly fire is the name of the game where the challenge is simply about fishing a target species across both River and Estuary and Offshore. Our Boat Captains organise off-shore Trips. You can find contact details here |
